Sebastian finally got to spend some time outside yesterday!
Also, he has officially learned to roll from his back onto his tummy and has started eating rice cereal! I can not believe how big he is getting!!

Spencer loved playing in his new sandbox that he got for his birthday!

I am currently...
Trying to build up my energy to clean the house. Spencer likes to play with as many toys as he can at one time, this means cleaning up after him is a chore that is never done. Who knew one little person could make such a big mess, and pretty soon Sebastian will be mobile and they will both be working full time at making the house a mess.
Drinking-
Coffee. I love coffee. These days, I drink at least 3 cups every morning. Having 2 babies so young I can use all the extra energy I can get!

Buying-
I am looking forward to buying a 1st birthday present for my friend Shannon's daughter, Lilybelle!  Since I don't have a girl of my own to buy things for I am so very excited to buy the girliest things I can find for Lily.

Driving-
Nothing right now. My car recently bit the dust, and Hubby drives a stick shift [something I never learned to do]. In a couple of weeks we are taking a vacation to Florida and will be driving home in our new [used] car! I am very excited for both the vacation and to have a car again, but in the mean time we are trapped at home while hubby is at work.

Missing-
Having a car! I hate the feeling of being trapped in the house! I love being able to go out and get things done during the day. I think it is good for the boys to get out of the house, but for now we sit at home. At least the weather is getting nicer so we can spend some time outside. Not today though, today it is raining... which means we really are trapped inside.

Obsessing
I guess I could say I am obsessing over our upcoming trip to Florida, for many reasons. I can't wait to see my family, including my sister and, for the first time, my niece Eloise [ who is only 2 weeks younger than Sebastian]! I can't wait for everyone to meet Sebastian and see Spencer again, who has grown so much since the last time he was around my family. I am also looking forward to going to the beach, meeting up with some old friends, relaxing and enjoying the sunshine.

2nd birthday

As I previously mentioned, Spencer's 2nd Birthday party was this past Sunday. The party was a great success, despite the weather being about 20 degrees cooler than it was at his party last year [seriously, last year we were outside getting sunburns]. Even though the weather was dissapointing, everyone we invited made it to the party! That means we had 30 people, including 12 kids packed tightly into my tiny house. That many children in one small place is bound to get a little chaotic, but really it went better than I even could have hoped for. We really are lucky to have such an extensive group of friends with kids, it makes birthdays and other parties a guaranteed good time! Well now that I am done rambling I thought I would share some photos from his party!!
Trying to get a picture of both of the birthday boys...

Some party decorations,
including the Oscar the Grouch serving tray I made.

Cupcakes
[ I always prefer cupcakes for parties, I think
they are so much easier to serve than slices of cake]

Hubby taking a break from the party to burp Sebastian.

Birthday boy!

Sebastian, with my sister-in-law, just saying hello!

Spencer loving his new quitar.

Spencer, and his cousin Bryce braving the cold
to make a few snow balls.

A serious moment with Spencer and his Uncle Nate.

The birthday boy being silly.

I am currently...
Eating dinner. Breakfast for dinner to be specific.

Feeling
Exhausted. Friday I worked, Saturday I spent all day getting things ready for Spencer's 2nd birthday party, the party on Sunday and celebrating hubby's birthday yesterday, all added to the normal amount of energy it takes to mother a 2 year old and a 3 month old. It has been a fun few days, but I was happy thrilled to do as little as possible today.
Imagining
Spring! Technically it's already Spring, but in upstate New York it still pretty much feels like Winter. I am so very sick of snow showers and so very ready for SUNSHINE!
Considering
Going to sign up for the gym near my house. I ate a little more than I should have everything I could get my hands on while i was pregnant, so I guess it's time to do something... or kiss my pre-baby weight good bye forever.
Listening to
Spencer's Blues Clues DVD. I have heard it so many times, I am almost certain I could recite it back word for word. It's strange how something that can drive an adult to near insanity, like watching the same DVD over and over, is a toddler's idea of a great time.
Moving
Hmm...I am not really sure how to respond to this. I have recently moved around alot of the furniture in our house. We live in a modest tiny house, so it takes alot of creative furniture arranging to get all of our belongings to fit.
