currently

The birthday boy being silly.

I am currently...
Eating dinner. Breakfast for dinner to be specific.

Feeling
Exhausted. Friday I worked, Saturday I spent all day getting things ready for Spencer's 2nd birthday party, the party on Sunday and celebrating hubby's birthday yesterday, all added to the normal amount of energy it takes to mother a 2 year old and a 3 month old. It has been a fun few days, but I was happy thrilled to do as little as possible today.
Imagining
Spring! Technically it's already Spring, but in upstate New York it still pretty much feels like Winter. I am so very sick of snow showers and so very ready for SUNSHINE!
Considering
Going to sign up for the gym near my house. I ate a little more than I should have everything I could get my hands on while i was pregnant, so I guess it's time to do something... or kiss my pre-baby weight good bye forever.
Listening to
Spencer's Blues Clues DVD. I have heard it so many times, I am almost certain I could recite it back word for word. It's strange how something that can drive an adult to near insanity, like watching the same DVD over and over, is a toddler's idea of a great time.
Moving
Hmm...I am not really sure how to respond to this. I have recently moved around alot of the furniture in our house. We live in a modest tiny house, so it takes alot of creative furniture arranging to get all of our belongings to fit.

  1. I'm ready for sunshine too! We had far too much snow yesterday in Virginia.

  2. Ummmm, could your little birthday boy possibly be ANY cuter??? I can't even handle that level of adorable <3

I'm 13 months post-partum and going to sign up for a gym asap. I definitely thought this baby weight would be GONE by now! Glad I stumbled upon your blog from the Currently link up! :)

  3. Birthday baked goods and breakfast for dinner?! No human could resist that kind of temptation... but I so hear you on the working out and getting back to pre-baby weight. My Loretta turned 1 this month and I'm just back to pre-baby weight (like yesterday) and just started going to a gym instead of taking a lunch at work. I'm hoping it's the beginning of a new life as an ultra-not-shlubby milf of a mom (haha, meh, or something, whatever) anyways, good luck to you! Will power!
